“For,here is the STONE that I have set before Joshua—-upon one stone are seven eyes (Zech :3:9). This is very interesting, a Stone with seven eyes! Such a Stone must be LIVING because it has eyes. The verse continues “ I will engrave it’s engraving, declares Jehovah and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.” It Is a precious stone that removes iniquities Who is this Stone? Two instructive passages John 1:29, “Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world and Revelation 5:6, “And I saw in the mist of the throne four living creatures and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing .....having seven horns and SEVEN EYES which are the SEVEN SPIRITS of God.” The Lamb with seven eyes is Christ hence the Stone with seven eyes is Christ. Christ redeemed us from our sins.

What is the purpose of theStone? This Stone is for BUILDING! He is the Foundation Stone of our Christian Life! “Therefore, thus said the Lord God, “behold I lay in Zion for a FOUNDATION Stone, A TRIED STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNER STONE, A SURE FOUNDATION (Isa 28:16). He that believes in Him shall not be ashamed!

Beloved, Jesus Christ is the Rejected Stone” which eventually became the Corner Sone (Ps 118:22). The Jews rejected Him; and today, millions of people reject Him and His message! In fact, many who claim to accept Him do not truly believe Him. Many believe, trust and rely on their pastors, prophets and spiritual leaders more than Jesus.

Is Jesus the the Foundation Stone of your Christian life or are you just a Church goer? Be careful not to build your Christian life on sand. Jesus said, many will say on judgment day, “Lord! Lord! Did we not prophecy in your name? And in your name drove out demons and in your name performed miracles? Then He will tell them “ I never knew you, get behind me you workers of iniquity! (Matt 7:23).To those who do not truly believe in Him. Jesus is a STONE of STUMBLING and A ROCK of OFFENCE! (Isa 8:14).

One of the qualities of a Stone is that, it is everlasting. That is why Jesus is known as the ROCK of AGES! He is the Ancient of Days, the Same, Yesterday, Today and Forever. You can TRUST and RELY on Him. You will never be ashamed! LAMB-STONE-SAVIOUR. He will be a CRUSHING stone to destroy everything that stands against your fulfilment. Every satanic stone gathered to slain you will BACKFIRE and RETURN to SENDER in Jesus name!
